Kathryn
Tapper
Singer-songwriter Kathryn Tapper's
heartfelt songs capture the beauty
in everyday life. Discovering
her passion and talent for music
at the age of thirteen, she started
writing songs and playing guitar.
In high school, she fronted the
all-girl indie-pop band "Forever
in Secret" before setting
out on her own. She has spent
the past few years performing
around Michigan, getting her bachelor’s
degree, learning Pro-tools and
recording her first release entirely
on her own. The result is her
debut EP "To Denver or Bust,"
five songs about love, loss, happiness
and heartache. The EP is a collaborative
effort with Merry Roberts who
is featured on bass and back-up
vocals. Listen to Kathryn Tapper's
songs and you will catch a glimpse
of the life of an ordinary girl
who has things to say." -Ramsey
Beyer Kathryn is currently performing
in the Midwest with plans to tour
in the summer of 2010.

Held together by Chuck Harling
on Drums, Judy Director on keys,
Joon Obie on bass, and Ellen Rosner
on vocals/guitar. The band successfully
captures and blends the players’
diverse collective influences.

we all came of age during the
mid 70’s to early 80’s,
and that comes through in our
writing.” Think vintage
Traffic, Sly and the Family Stone,
early Pretenders, a little Mavis
Staples, some Al Green….
clean, tight melody riding over
tight, in the pocket grooves.

and you can hear a sound that

The
Scott Free Trio
Scott Free, the queer-rock singer/songwriter
extraordinaire, is one of America's
leading openly-gay male artists.
His sometimes humorous, sometimes
angry, always touching songs of
queer life have gained him acclaim
in both gay and straight media
across the globe.Scott's CD 'The
Pink Album (A Pop Opera)' won
the Pride In The Arts Best Album
of 2009, and OUTMusic named Scott
the 2009 Outmusician of the Year.
The Scott Free Trio is Scott on
guitar, Marvin Astorga on bass,
and Jenny Urban on drums.
