Art Submission Guidelines
Editorial submissions and Letters to the
editor should be sent via email to fatback@aol.com. Please do
not attach or stuff text, simply copy, paste and send it using
any email program.
Art submissions:
- Vector files: Send, via email attachment
using Adobe Illustrator version 9.0 or lower. Please "convert"
all fonts to outlines or send us the fonts with the file.
- Bitmap files: Send, via email attachment,
all bitmap files that are 2 megabytes or less in size in "Photoshop,
JPEG, TIFF, or EPS" file formats.
- Please do not save jpegs with a compression
setting lower than "9." If your file is greater than
1 megabyte is size, send it on a 100 megabyte zip disc, or a
cd.
- Files size should be 170 dpi (dots per
inch) at the intended width and height of the final size the
image will appear on the page.
- Artwork and prints: We can scan
just about anything as long as it is flat and less than 16 inches
x 17 inches. If you are submitting film, we prefer transparency
but we can accept negatives.
